Automobile Road Test Schedule & Registration

You can schedule a Road Test/Driving Skill Test online at any of our 2 test site locations:

• Taylor location: site location is at St. John's Lutheran Church at the corner of Telegraph & Northline (use the driveway off Northline Rd).
• Alpena location: site location is at 167 S Ripley Blvd in Alpena at First United Methodist Church.

Students who are under 18 must have had their temporary instruction permit (TIP) for at least 180 days and students over 18 for at least 30 days.

To reserve a road test, first select a date in the calendar below and then pick an available slot. Days with available road test slots are highlighted in green.

To view road test at a specific test location only, use the drop down menu and select your desired location.

Please note: all our examiners only speak English. Customers who only speak a language other than English will need to provide their own translator for use during the road test.
