Thank you for taking the first step in learning more about Stroia School of Driving. We know it can often be stressful for both students and family members, when a teenager wants to learn how to drive.

With that in mind, when Stroia School of Driving was started more than 20 years ago our purpose was to create a protective, safe and friendly environment in both car and classroom that is conducive to our students becoming safe, smart and skilled drivers.

Our mission is to educate new drivers and make the roads a safer place:

  • Serving the community for over 20 years, at Stroia School of Driving we provide the best driver education and testing experience available in the Metro Detroit Area.
  • Licensed by the State of Michigan to offer both driver education training and road skills testing for the Secretary of State. Because we offer both driver training and testing we can make it easier to obtain your Michigan Driver License.
  • Licensed by the State of Michigan to administer motorcycle testing, and we offer motorcycle classes to prepare you for the test.
  • Become a Driving Instructor, we offer driving instructor certification classes.
  • We also offer the Michigan Basic Driver Improvement Course program, which can help on the reduction of points and keep your auto insurance rates down.
  • At Stroia School of Driving, we can provide all your driver education needs in a professional school environment helping to ensure the success of our future drivers.
  • Our service area includes, but is not limited to the entire Downriver area in Wayne County south of Detroit, including the communities of Allen Park, Brownstown Township, Ecorse, Flat Rock, Gibraltar, Grosse Ile, Huron Charter Township, Lincoln Park, Melvindale, River Rouge, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Riverview, Rockwood, Romulus, Southgate, Taylor, Trenton, Woodhaven and Wyandotte. The service area also includes Alpena, MI and surrounding communities in Northern Michigan.
