Segment 1Seg 1
= Start of Teenage Segment 1 Class
The Segment 1 class is usually spread out over 3 weeks/4 days per week, and consists of 24 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction, 4 hours of observation time in a training vehicle, and a 40-question test.
Segment 2Seg 2
= Start of Teenage Segment 2 Class
The Segment 2 class is usually spread out over 3 days, and consists of 6 hours of classroom instuction and a written test.
BDICBDIC
= Basic Driver Improvement Course
The Michigan Basic Driver Improvement Course (BDIC) is a one-day, 6 hour course.
MCBDIC
= Motorcycle Class
The Motorcycle Class consists of 2 hours of class and 1 hour of range time.
Adult CourseAdult
= Adult Instruction Course
The Adult Instruction Course includes 5 hours of classroom instruction (usually spread out over 2 days) and 4 hours of behind the wheel training.
